the design and drafting process
1. Obligation-free site inspection
Provide an obligation free site inspection to find out what the client requires and give some preliminary advice on design and what is necessary on that particular project to get approval.
2. Detailed quotation
Organise a detailed quotation for the project and suggest the client fill in a questionnaire so we can make sure we understand their requirements.
3. Project Discussion
Once the quotation has been signed and the deposit paid the project is allocated to one of our qualified team, who will contact the owner to do a site measure if required depending on the project and discuss their needs and aspirations as well as their budget.
4. Research
Research is carried out to determine the site constraints e.g Bushfire requirements, easements and the organising of a survey if that is required.
5. Preliminary Drawings
Preliminary CAD drawings are prepared for discussions with the owner. There may be several meetings involved to finalise the design.
6. Cost Estimates & Council meetings
When the client is satisfied with the design, cost estimates are obtained to ensure viability and a meeting with council may be carried out to ensure the project meets the development control requirements.
